Nancy Patteson Cook

Nancy Patteson Cook, age 93, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2024, at her home near Nixon, Texas.

She was born on August 21, 1930 in Smiley, Texas, and was preceded in death by her parents, J.B. “Dock” Patteson and Doshia Lewallen; husband of 66 years, John L. “Bubba” Cook; brother J.B. Patteson, Jr.; son-in-law, Bo Brzozowski; and grandson-in-law, Jeremy Henke.

Nancy is survived by her children: Linda Parks and husband Gary of Nixon, John L. Cook Jr. and wife Laura of College Station, Connie Brzozowski of Cost, JoLyn Henderson and husband Sam of Nixon; her grandchildren: Robby Harvey and wife Patricia, Jeff Harvey and wife Jennifer, Lynsey Valencia and husband Dan, Jack Cook and wife Codi, James Cook and wife Cheyenne, Anna Pearson and husband L.B., Kacie Henke, Ty Brzozowski and wife Baylee, Trevor Henderson, and Kelby Henderson; her great-grandchildren: Bailey Harvey, Cook Harvey, Blaine Harvey, Brett Harvey, Grace Valencia, Kate Valencia, Holdyn Morrow, Kolby Morrow, Waylon Cook, Grady Cook, Jace Cook, Cooper Cook, Truitt Pearson, Kelly Pearson, Keeli Henke, Braize Brzozowski, Tripp Brzozowski, Ainsley Henderson, Kahl Henderson, Trigg Henderson; nieces and nephews, as well as other loving family and friends.

A Visitation will be held Thursday, March 7, 2024 from 10:00 am – 11:00 am at Finch Funeral Chapel in Nixon.  The Funeral Service will be held Thursday, March 7, 2024 at 11:00 am at Finch Funeral Chapel in Nixon with the Rev. Jimmy Kennedy officiating.  Interment will follow at the Nixon Cemetery.
