Lillie Mae Lamprecht Kocian, 89, of Gonzales, went to be with her Heavenly Lord on Wednesday, April 3, 2024. She was born December 18, 1934 in Gonzales, Texas to Edward and Wally Lamprecht. Lillie married Emil James Kocian on August 18, 1956 in the St. James Catholic Church in Gonzales. Lilie was a member of the St. James Catholic Church, the St. James Altar Society, and the Catholic Daughters of St. James.

Lillie’s favorite past-times were various crafts like hand embroidery, creating greeting cards, trying new recipes, decorating delicious sugar cookies, and playing dominoes with her special dear friends. Lillie also enjoyed tending her plants and gardening.

Lillie loved life; she was a beautiful lady with a warm welcoming smile, she loved people and meeting new people whether at a function or in the grocery store. She found tremendous delight in conversation and as a magnificent hostess, she reveled in back yard parties, tea parties and all family gatherings. Lillie loved her family and treasured every moment she could share in their company, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved to decorate her home for special holidays, especially Christmas. Her world revolved around her faith, family, and friends. In turn her family and friends celebrate Lillie reflecting on Proverbs 31:31 "Honor her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate."

Lillie is survived by her adoring family, daughters, Carolyn Elizabeth Kocian (Steve Hendershot), Denise Marie Immenhauser (Roger), son, James Edward Kocian (Laurie), grandchildren, Hannah McGee (Chad), Kali Howden (Hunter) and Cole Immenhauser, great-grandchildren, Bryce and Barrett McGee, sisters, Bernice Heldarsen and Jeanie Noack, in-laws, Frankin and Rose Kocian and numerous loving nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, older sister, Esther Tichavsky and beloved in-laws.
