Well, that didn’t take too long!

Gonzales Healthcare Systems’ first baby of the new year has arrived! The 2024 New Year’s baby was born on Jan. 1, 2024.

Juan and Amelia Martinez are the proud parents of baby J.J. Martinez, who was born at 8:16 p.m. Jan. 1, making him the first baby born at GHS this year. He weighed in at a healthy seven pounds, four ounces and was 21 inches long.

The New Year’s baby received a big bag full of baby goodies, pacifiers, diapers and more from Gonzales Healthcare Systems. A beautiful La-Z-Boy rocker/recliner was also donated to the Martinez family by Edwards Furniture.
