Weimar beats Lady Apaches in close match

The No. 23-ranked Gonzales Lady Apaches traveled on the road Thursday, March 14 for their last non-district match against the Weimar Lady Wildcats.

This was a rematch from early in the season when the Lady Apaches beat Weimar, 6-2, in a tournament match.

The Lady Apaches fell to the Lady Wildcats, 3-2, handing them their fourth loss of the season.

Gonzales will resume district play on the road against San Antonio Memorial Tuesday, March 19 and will take on Navarro at home Friday, March 22.

First pitch for the Navarro match is set for 7 p.m.
