No. 4 Cuero sweeps season series from Lady Apaches

The Gonzales Lady Apaches traveled to Cuero for the series finale against the fourth-ranked Cuero Lady Gobblers Friday, April 12.
Cuero shut down the Lady Apaches’ offense, allowing three hits from Ava Carrizales, Sarah Padilla and Alexzis Hernandez and three walks from Padilla, Hernandez and Alaina Valle.
The Lady Apaches fell to the Gobblers, 10-0, in six innings.
Gonzales hosted the San Antonio JFK Lady Rockets for its final home game of the season Tuesday, April 16.
The Lady Apaches hosted senior night for Haley Cantu, Sydney McCray, Dakota Schmidt and Kelly Breitschopf.
