Nixon VFD to hold BBQ fundraiser

The Nixon Volunteer Fire Department is holding its annual barbecue fundraiser on Saturday, July 22, at the Nixon Fire Station, 209 N. Congress Ave., from noon until they sell out of food.
For $12 per plate, get brisket and sausage with cowboy potatoes and pinto beans.
