Mustangs fall to Randolph on the road

The Nixon-Smiley Mustangs went on the road to San Antonio Friday, April 5 for a district match against the Randolph Ro-Hawks.

The Mustangs fell to Randolph, 11-1, and extended their losing streak to five in district play.

This is the fourth game in a row where the Mustangs fell in double digits.

Nixon-Smiley has four games remaining in its 2024 season and they hosted the Marion Bulldogs Tuesday, April 9 and will have back-to-back road games against Cole (Friday, April 12) and Luling (Tuesday, April 16).

First pitch for the Cole game is set for 7 p.m.
