Logan Insurance recognized as Main Street Business of the Month for July 2023

Insurance is not usually considered a “sexy” business, but being a part of downtown Gonzales, Texas, for more than 60 years is something we do find pretty attractive.

Located at 516 St Paul Street, Logan Insurance Company began in the 1960s. In the early 1980s, Jim Logan and Mike Davis bought the company and opened Davis and Logan Insurance Company. Years later, Jim bought out Mike and the company became Logan Insurance Company. In 2007, Travis Tresner joined Logan Insurance and, just three years later, in 2010, purchased the company.

Logan Insurance has always been a family-owned business. They pride themselves on treating their agents and staff like family and in return, employees have been with the company 20, 40 and even 60 years! They currently have three agents in the office, two remote agents, and a bookkeeper.

Tresner also attributes the “social creativity” in the office to his outstanding staff. From the seasonal sidewalk displays, to the super successful St. Patrick’s Day scavenger hunt, the Logan Insurance staff continually finds unique ways to engage the community.
