Kacey Marie Lindemann and Ross Wayne Butler were united in marriage on September 11, 2010 at 3:30 pm at the Lindemann Ranch in Monthalia, Texas.  Brother Paul Smith officiated the ceremony.  Kacey is the daughter of Mark and Patti Lindemann, of Gonzales and Ross is the son of Gary and Charlene Butler, of Nixon.

Guests arrived to the outside ceremony, which was held under a canopy of giant oak trees, and were greeted by Kiley Allen, Tallis Butler and Jadan Butler. The groom’s grandparents, W.E. and Vera Butler and the bride’s grandparents, Noel “Buster” and Gladys Lindemann were seated.  The couple’s parents were seated as a guitar melody was played by Clint Martin.  The mothers of the couple carried tussie-mussies of white calla lilies and akito roses tied with white chiffon ribbons. The grandmothers wore corsages of white calla lilies tied with white chiffon bows.

As the guitar melody continued, Kacey’s bridesmaids entered the ceremony individually from a sparkling white stretch limousine.  Erin Amanda Lindemann-LaBuhn, sister and best friend of the bride, served as Matron of Honor.  The bridesmaids included:  Stephanie Ann Fritz, lifetime friend of the bride; Tammy Lynn Lester, lifetime friend of the bride; Wendy Kaye Allen, lifetime friend of the bride; Bridgette Marie Tomas, cousin of the bride; Leigh Ann Coke, cousin of the bride; Shelley Elizabeth Thomas, lifetime friend of the bride; and Beth Clara Lindemann, cousin of the bride.  The Matron of Honor and bridesmaids wore floor length, strapless, black taffeta dresses designed by Mori Lee.  Erin carried a hand-tied bouquet of white calla lilies and akito roses adorned with rhinestones, wrapped in white satin with bands of black satin and rhinestone trim.  The bridesmaids each carried a bouquet of white calla lilies wrapped like that of the Matron of Honor.

The ring bearers, Cooper Mark LaBuhn and Coy Hudson LaBuhn, nephews of the bride, looked adorable in their full tuxedos and matching cowboy boots.  The flower girl, Aubrey Lynn Lindemann, cousin of the bride, was precious in a floor length white dress with a black satin sash and side bow.  Aubrey also wore a crystal tiara and her cowboy boots.

The bride arrived to the ceremony in a white horse-drawn carriage and was escorted down the aisle by her father to an acoustic version of “She’s Every Woman”.  She wore a shimmering white taffeta floor length gown with a sweetheart neckline.  The bodice was adorned with rows of crystals and rhinestones bordering the ruching waistline.  A large monogram of the couple’s initials was embroidered into the center of the train of the bride’s gown.  The bride’s ensemble was completed with a Swarovski Crystal and silver tiara along with a rhinestone studded, waist-length veil and her favorite black and white cowboy boots.  Kacey carried a hand-tied nosegay of white calla lilies, akito roses and pink majolica spray roses with a collar of lemon leaf.  Stems of the bouquet were wrapped in white bridal satin with white pearls and rhinestone trim.

Serving as the groom’s best man was Steven Wayne Rau, lifetime friend of the groom. Other groomsmen included:  Bodie Clark Emmons, friend of the groom; Jeffrey Dale Reynolds, cousin of the groom; Joshua Wayne Holmes, lifetime friend of the groom; Brennon John LaBuhn, brother-in-law of the bride; Tel Neil Lindemann, cousin of the bride; Westley Earl Goldstein, friend of the groom; and Alan Duane Hassmann, friend of the groom.

Guests were ushered to their seats by Clinton John Tieken, friend of the groom; Jess Daniel Fullilove, cousin of the bride; Darin Wayne Tessman, cousin of the groom; and Christopher Scott Schendel, friend of the groom.

The aisle leading to the archway was lined with bows of bridal white satin and black chiffon ribbons.  Large urns flanked the iron archway and held arrangements of foliages including steel grass, lemon leaf, Israeli ruscus, Italian ruscus and aspidistra leaves.  A tall glass cylinder holding four floating calla lilies stood on a metal pedestal table in memory of the couple’s late grandparents, Charlie and Mary Tomas, and Nelton and Anita Huck.  Directly behind the archway was a metal pedestal table holding glass cylinders of the couple’s family soil, which was blended by the bride and groom during the ceremony as they displayed their unity of marriage.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, the bride and groom exited to the awaiting carriage to the acoustic version of “History in the Making”.

The wedding party, along with several family members, friends and guests proceeded to The Coliseum in Seguin where they enjoyed a delicious meal of chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes with cream gravy, buttered corn and salad made by Vinsciks Catering from East Bernard.  The celebration continued with a full night of live music and dancing provided by The Clint Martin Band.

Guests also enjoyed a multi-flavored bridal cake, decorated with a black feather boa, black satin ribbon and a rhinestone studded “B” monogram topper, created especially for the bride by Creations Cakes of Pleasanton.  A casino themed vanilla grooms cake was also made by Creations Cakes of Pleasanton and was adorned with brightly hand-painted edible playing cards and poker chips.

The bride and groom began the dance with the grand march, led by Mr. and Mrs. Greg Tieken, which was followed by the couple’s first dance to “Love Your Love the Most”.  The bride and her father and the groom and his mother then shared dances as the wedding party and guests looked on.  The couple, their wedding party, family and friends, enjoyed several more hours of dancing until the couple left for Lake Charles under a blanket of bubbles.
