Lady Mustangs win district opener over Randolph, 28-18

The Nixon-Smiley Lady Mustangs softball team took home a 28-18 district opening win over the Randolph Lady Ro Hawk Tuesday, March 19.
The Lady Mustangs scored their highest total of runs for the 2024 season with 28; Nixon-Smiley scored 10 runs in the top of the seventh and secured their first district win of the season.
Nixon-Smiley will head back on the road Friday, March 22 for a district match against the Marion Lady Bulldogs.
First pitch for the Marion match is set for 7 p.m.
