Lady Mustangs clinch second in district with win over Luling

The Nixon-Smiley Lady Mustangs completed the season sweep of the Luling Lady Eagles, 21-9, on the road Tuesday, April 16 in six innings.
Nixon-Smiley went scoreless in the first two innings, but in the top of the third inning, the Lady Mustangs scored 12 runs.
The Lady Mustangs clinched second place with a 6-2 district record in District 26-3A.
The Lady Mustangs will take on Tidehaven in the bi-district round.
Time and location will be announced at a later.
