Lady Mustangs beat Cole, 15-5

The Nixon-Smiley Lady Mustangs returned home Tuesday, March 26 for their third district match against the Cole Lady Cougars.
The Lady Mustangs got back on the winning path with a 15-5 win over Cole in five innings.
Nixon-Smiley recorded 13 hits and earned 12 RBIs; and junior Hailee Houston and freshman Kaelynn Mendiola each hit a home run.
Senior pitcher Kendall Amaya pitched in all five innings and struck out five Cole batters.
The Lady Mustangs will host the Lulling Lady Eagles Thursday, March 28 to close out the first half of district play.
First pitch is set for 7 p.m.
