SHINER — Shiner St. Paul (7-0, 4-0) ran all over the St. Gerard Royals (2-6, 0-4) to remain undefeated this season, winning the bout 55-12.
The Cardinals defense showed up as the Royals combined for negative yards rushing and 116 yards passing, with just five first downs throughout the night.
Meanwhile, five different players on the St. Paul offense scored touchdowns, with Conor Kresta leading the way with 12 rushes for 116 yards and three touchdowns. Tre’Zell Jenkins-Perry had five rushes for 80 yards and a touchdown. Joseph Natal rushed five times for 76 yards and one touchdown. Carson Reese added 68 yards on 10 rushes and a score. Kai Giese rushed three times for 24 yards and two touchdowns.
The Cardinals combined for 42 carries for 393 yards.
Shiner St. Paul take on Hallettsville Sacred Heart on Thursday, with kickoff set at 7:30 p.m.
