Man arrested for meth, paraphernalia

GONZALES — A local man wound up behind bars after police said they caught him with meth and paraphernalia.

At 1:14 a.m. May 7, Sgt. James Holt noticed a vehicle driving without headlights, Capt. Allen Taylor reported. Holt pulled the vehicle over and identified the driver as Paul Falcon, Jr.

After getting permission to search Falcon, Holt found a pipe used for smoking narcotics and detained him. Also during the search, the officer found three small plastic bags containing what appeared to be meth.

Holt also searched the trunk of the vehicle and found more contraband believed to be meth.

Falcon, 19, of Gonzales, was arrested and taken to Gonzales County Jail. He is charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
