Jim Price Cleanup scheduled

GONZALES — Clocks have moved forward, little league season is in full swing and the Easter Bunny has hopped through town, so that could only mean one thing. It's time for spring cleaning.

The City of Gonzales has announced the annual Jim Price Cleanup. The annual event is scheduled from 8 a.m. until noon, Saturday, April 29 at Apache Field.

Residents must be in line by noon and must have a City of Gonzales utility bill in order to dump batteries, scrap metal, electronics, appliances and other trash and debris.

As always, absolutely no tires may be dumped.

Once again, the city welcomes businesses and civic groups wishing to form teams to clean up neighborhoods or public areas. Call the City of Gonzales to reserve a cleanup area, arrange to get trash bags and supplies and schedule trash pickup.
