Family film looking for twin girls

Able’s Field, starring Kevin Sorbo (Hercules, Soul Surfer) is looking for twin girls ages 6-8 to play important supporting characters in the movie. The film is a coming-of-age drama in the vein of The Karate Kid set against the backdrop of West Texas high school football.

We are conducting a search in Gonzales and surrounding towns for twin girls to play important supporting roles in the film. 

Auditions will be held in Austin July 19-29 with Austin-based casting director, Vicky Boone.

“It’s great to meet talent from new areas, and it’s really helpful when casting a specific role, like that of twins,” casting director, Vicky Boone said.

Boone has also cast films such as “The Tree of Life” (starring Brad Pitt and Sean Penn) and “The Girl” (starring Abbie Cornish).

The casting call will consist of a brief talk with a member of the casting team and an interview on camera.

No acting experience is necessary. The film will provide compensation for all speaking roles.
