Texas Tribal Buffalo Project to hold Adopt-A-Highway cleanup day

The Texas Tribal Buffalo Project Adopt-a-Highway Volunteer Day in Waelder will be held this Saturday May 28, from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

There will be a cleanup for two miles along the US 90 from the intersection with Texas 97 and FM 1115 east to Interstate 10. Please arrive prepared, with arms, legs and feet protected from both heat and trash.

The Texas Tribal Buffalo Project is a Native American 501c(3) non-profit organization in Waelder. TTBP works for the preservation and protection of the culture and traditions of the Lipan Apache community in Texas and other Indigenous peoples in our community through: education, research, community outreach, economic development projects and agricultural programs.
