The summit aims to foster dialogue and share insights into the economic future of Texas, the direction of the South Central region, and the critical role of community support in economic development.

It will feature an impressive roster of speakers, including experts from local Economic Development Councils (Cuero, Gonzales, Hallettsville, Yoakum); Luke Goetting; Carlton Schwab, president of the Texas Economic Development Council; Teri R. Moten, MBA of Spherion Staffing and Recruiting; and Robert Royer, president of Building Brands Marketing.

The summit will offer an engaging lineup of activities, starting with an hour of registration and networking from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. This initial segment offers a golden opportunity for professionals from various sectors to connect and set the stage for future collaborations.

Following this, attendees will be treated to a series of expert-led sessions that dive into crucial subjects, including the behaviors of Millennials and Gen Z, the simplification of AI for business success, and cutting-edge hiring strategies.

Highlighting the event are insightful presentations by Carlton Schwab, alongside important updates from the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) concerning regional developments. These highlights collectively underscore SCTEN’s commitment to fostering professional development and regional economic growth.
