William Bradley Vollentine

William Bradley Vollentine passed away Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 23. Brad was born August 24,

1955 in Gonzales, Texas to Henry Howard and Genevieve Bradley Vollentine.

He graduated from Gonzales High School and attended Texas State University. Brad was always involved in the family lumber yard in Gonzales and attended school in Pipestone, Minnesota specializing in building materials and the lumber industry, in which he was involved for many years.

He married Linda Miller in Gonzales, living there for several years then moving to Maryland.

Brad lived in Hagerstown, Maryland until moving back to his native Texas where he loved the food, the music, his boots and his pickup. It was there that he met and married Maria Standridge. Maria and Brad lived in Copperas Cove, Texas and later on the property that they both loved outside of Lexington, Texas. There, they enjoyed the wildlife, the sunsets and their livestock in the beautiful

countryside.

Brad is survived by his wife, Maria, daughter Ashley Burleson and her husband Darren of Hagerstown, Maryland, grandchildren Sherri, Kara and Elizabeth. Daughter Michelle Lopez and her husband Joey of Lexington, grandchildren Stephen, Anna, Jacob and Emily. Daughter Jessica Standridge of Georgetown, grandchildren Mckinlee and Mason. He is also survived by his brother Sandy Vollentine and his wife Tracy of Hutto, their children, Caris, Jess, Logan and Emma and his sister Lucianne Blakemore and her husband Dan of Gonzales.

Services for Brad will be held at the Lifeway Fellowship in Killeen, Texas, Saturday, Dec. 2, at 11 a.m.

A Gonzales service will be held at the Episcopal Church of the Messiah on Thursday, Nov. 30, at 2 p.m.
