Walter Harold “Hal” Henry, Jr.

On June 21, 2021, Walter Harold “Hal” Henry, Jr. passed away. Hal was born on October 3, 1956, in the Nix Hospital, San Antonio, Texas, to Walter Harold “Bubba” Henry and Maurine (Cook) Henry. Hal graduated from Nixon High School. Hal was the former Risk Director for the Archdiocese of San Antonio.

Hal is survived by his fiancé: Karen Smithey; mother: Maurine Henry; sister: Beverly Millington (Mike); niece: Carrey Millington; nephew: Cook Millington; special friend: Morris Harvey; as well as numerous relatives and many friends. Hal is preceded in death by his father, Bubba Henry.

Visitation will be held at Finch Funeral Chapel in Nixon, Texas on Thursday, June 24, 2021, 10 to 11 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 11 a.m.

Serving as pallbearers are Morris Harvey, Jeffrey Patteson, Kevin Caraway, Kim Caraway, Troy Finch, and Steven Kroll.

Burial will follow at the Nixon Cemetery.
