Beginning July 6 and running until August 13, Victoria College will be offering a truck driving course, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
The course will prepare participants for entry-level employment in the trucking industry. There will be opportunities to meet industry recruiters, with room for nine students in the course. As for cost, the course is $3,780, and financial assistance is available.
Students can expect to take the Commercial Driver's License written and driving exams. Students must also pass a Texas Department of Transportation drug and alcohol test as well as a physical.
