Tiodoro or Lolo as he was known to his friends and family, entered heaven peacefully on April 9, 2020 at the age of 74. He was born on May 19, 1945 in Santa Cruz, San Luis Potosi, Mexico. He married his long-time sweetheart and love of his life, Lorenza Perez, who preceded him in death in 2014.

Lolo always wore his cowboy hat and greeted everyone with a big smile. He enjoyed seeing his friends and each meeting was never a dull moment. Lolo was a cowboy at heart and loved working in the agriculture industry. He grew up herding goats in the mountains of Mexico and after migrating to Gonzales he worked in the chicken houses taking care of chickens. Lolo also worked many, many years at a cattle feedlot and enjoyed it very much. He went on to raise and grow cattle and horses on his own little ranch which really made his heart happy.

His family were always his pride and joy. His love for every single one was unconditional.  He would light up each time he saw them and would bring him much joy. He is the loving father of Victor, Samuel and wife Mirna, Maria, Eric and wife Viviana, Theodore Jr. and wife Jessica, Rocky and wife Nora, Esmeralda and husband Bernardo Huitron, Lorenzo and wife Leticia, all of Gonzales.

He was the proud grandfather of Yasmin and husband Jr. Villegas, Samantha, Elizabeth, Mercedes, Ylaina, Gahbii, Anayeli, Manuel Augustin, Liberty, Tristan, Sebastian, Nataleen, Noraiyah, Sophia, Rocky Ulysess, Xavi, Xavier, Albert, Theodore, Genaro who is soon to be born, Noah, Nicolas, and soon to be born first great grandchild.

Cherished brother of Francisca Matamoros and husband Teodoro, Jesus Gallegos, Juan Gallegos all of Gonzales, Eva Guerrero and husband Carlos of Houston, Petra Martinez and husband Francisco, Rutilia Escalona and husband Simon, Elias Gallegos, Juana Gallegos, and Israel Martinez all of Santa Cruz, San Luis Potosi, Mexico. Many numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

The family would also like to thank the Sievers Medical Clinic staff and MD Anderson’s Dr. Cabanillas and staff who take great care of him and his caretakers Ana Lilia Zavala and Carney Zambrano.
