The holidays were on an unusual day this year, with Christmas day and New Year’s Day falling on a Tuesday. If you made a resolution, be honest, did you start it that Tuesday or wait for the first Monday of 2019 to start?

A. “New year, new me” begins right at the Jan. 1. I started my resolution on the first day of 2019.
B. Mondays are the start of the work week, so naturally, I began my resolution on the first Monday of 2019. That gave me a few extra days of freedom before beginning my 2019 resolutions.
