State-wide, county primary early voting begins Tuesday

Early voting for the state-wide and Gonzales County primary election begins Tuesday, Feb. 20, and runs through March 2. The primary election will take place on Tuesday, March 6.

Registered voters may cast their early ballot at any of the three early voting locations across Gonzales County.

Early voting locations are:

Randle Rather Building, 427 St. George Street

Nixon City Building, 100 W. 3rd Street

Waelder City Building, 300 Highway 90 W.

In local races, only one position will be contested; incumbent County Treasurer Jo Ann Mercer will defend her seat against Sheryl Barborak. All other county-wide seats are uncontested.
