Smiley Mayor contested in May election

SMILEY — Smiley Mayor Ellis Villasana has some competition in the upcoming city election. He will face opponent Mike Mills on May 5 in a duel of ballots.

Also up for grabs are three council seats, including the unexpired seat of Bob Peck, which was previously filled with the appointment of Linda Warzecha, as well as the seats of Willie Ann Canion, and Cathy Whitehead.
