Sherryl Elaine Armstead Fennel

Ms. Sherryl Elaine Armstead Fennel, age 68, of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away, Oct. 22, in San Antonio, Texas. Sherryl was born Oct. 11, 1950 to Mr. Murray Armstead and Mrs. Doris Faye Young Armstead. She was called home to be with her Heavenly Father, Monday, October 22, 2018

Sherryl attended West Oso Junior High School and West Oso High School, in the Molina Neighborhood of Corpus Christi, Texas. Sherryl accepted the Lord at a young age and attended Friendship Baptist Church in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was employed by the Corpus Christi Independent School District as a Bus Driver.

Sherryl was a loving individual, wo saw beauty in all things. Nothing brought her more joy than spending time with her family. Her daughters and grandchildren were the highlight of her life. Recently, Sherryl had located and met several family members online. They would talk for hours. She will be immensely missed.

Sherryl was preceded in death by her father, Murray Armstead and sister, Karen Armstead.

She is survived by her beloved mother, Mrs. Doris F. Armstead of San Antonio, Texas. Three daughters; Dedra Browner of Dallas, Texas, Cedra Meyers of San Antonio, Texas and Kimberley Abram (Wilbert) of Austin, Texas, three granddaughters, Jasmine Stanberry, Yasmine Bryson and Ryan Dupree, one brother, Kenneth Armstead of Austin, Texas, four sisters; Gloria Nell King of Corpus Christi, Texas, Marva Johnson (Melvin) of San Antonio, Texas, Belinda Armstead of San Antonio, Texas and Phyllis Armstead of Austin, Texas, one special nephew; Darrell W. Baldwin and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many other family and friends.
