Several vying for seats on Nixon council

NIXON – Nixon City Council has three seats up for grabs, including that of the incumbent Mayor Gladyne Finch and two council members, including Pat Dingler and Doug Koenig.
Finch did not file mayoral candidacy paperwork, however former councilwoman Dorothy Riojas did file for the position.
The seats of Koenig and Dingler are up for re-election. Dingler did not turn in a candidacy packet, Koenig did.
Other names in the hat for the two seats are Mark Soto, George Peña, Maggie Gaytan and Jessica Garcia.
