Ray Edward Friedrich

Ray Edward Friedrich (Ol'Ray), 70, was taken from his family Friday evening, Aug. 11.

He was born November 29, 1946 in Gonzales, to Herman and Mary Breitschopf Friedrich.

Survivors: daughter, Sheryl Rae Friedrich; grandsons, Devin and Jared Morrison; longtime companion, Lillian Koenning all of Shiner; sister, Annabelle Pagel (Raymond); nephew, Michael Friedrich all of Victoria; CoCo and Wiley his two dogs he loved and spoiled.

Preceded in death by: parents; brother, Wayne L. Friedrich.

As for Ray's life, he worked hard his whole life. He owned Ray's Auto Sales till he retired in early 1990's but he never truly retired. He continued to work on autos, building trailers, hop traps, bbq pits, deer stands and lots more. He always had stuff for sale. He was always one to wake up early and get things done no matter what. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church of Moulton.

Memorial service at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 19 at Zion Lutheran Church of Moulton with Rev. Herb Beyer officiating.
