Phillip Nathan Cook, 49, of Austin, formerly of Gonzales, passed away Friday, Feb. 21, 2020. He was born July 22, 1970 in Houston, Texas, the son of John W. and Linda Jane Hunt Cook. He was a graduate of Scarbough High School in 1989 and attended Austin Community College. He owned and operated a cleaning service in Austin. He enjoyed cooking, sewing and loved music and dancing. He was a very kind- hearted person, liked people and would do anything for friends and family. He is survived by his stepmother Jessica Jean Cook of Yoakum; brothers: John Matthew Cook and wife Tara of New Braunfels and Brandon Travis Cook of Austin. Also surviving are three nieces and two nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Shawn Allen Cook; grandparents: John D. and Maude Cook and Travis and Miriam Hunt and nephew Dustin James Cook. Graveside services will be held 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 24, 2020 at the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Gonzales. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Seydler-Hill Funeral Home 906 St. Paul Street, Gonzales, Texas.
