Graveside funeral services were held at the Thompsonville Community Cemetery with Ray Blundell officiating, on Saturday, Feb. 23, 2019 for Peggy Ann Birch, who passed away on Feb. 19, following a lengthy illness at her home in Thompsonville surrounded by loved ones.
Peggy was born in Waelder on April 9, 1939. She was the daughter of William (Lewis) Richards and Willie V (Spike) Hill Richards, who proceeded her in death. She was also preceded by a sister, Billie Richards Naumann and many aunts, uncles and cousins and a niece. She is survived by her husband, David, daughters, Terri (Bruce) Schreiner of Thompsonville, Sherry (Deedy) and husband (Rodney) Stewart of Houston; son, David (Christin) of Lake Whitney; eight grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; sisters, Patsy Gene Frazier of Marble Falls and Karen Sue (Susie) Murray of Miles City, Mont.; an aunt, Dorothy Kincaid and many cousins and friends, who adored her.
Her family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to St. Judes, Guadalupe Regional Hospice or the charity of your choice. Arrangements under the care and direction of Seydler-Hill Funeral Home.
