Narcizo A. Vigil

Narcizo A. Vigil, age 78, of Nixon, passed away May 21 in Luling. He was born in Belmont, Texas on March 18, 1940. He is preceded in death by his parents, Alejo and Josephine (Aguilar) Vigil; a sister, Ramona Guerra; and a brother, Sebastian Guerra. Narcizo is survived by his children: Johnny Vigil (Kasey), Irma Vigil (John Olmos), Joe Ray Vigil (Elizabeth Rinker), Larry Lee Vigil (Liza), Jesse Ray Vigil (Suzanne), and Narcizo Vigil Jr.; 19 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; the mother of his children, Mary Ramirez; his siblings: Bentura Guerra, Guillermo Vigil, Vicenta Trigo, and Guadalupe Vigil; numerous nieces and nephews; as well as other loving family and many friends.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, May 23, from 5-8 p.m. at Finch Funeral Chapel in Nixon with a rosary recited at 6:30 p.m. by Adella Bermea. The Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, May 24, at 2 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Nixon with Father Ouseph Kuriakose officiating. Burial will follow at the Nixon Latin American Cemetery.
