Michele Ann Lewis-Faith, of Gonzales, passed away at the age of 40, on Thursday, Oct. 31, 2019. Michele was born on March 16, 1979 in Lockhart, Texas to Benton (Benny) C. Lewis and Eugenia (Jeannie) A. Maulding Lewis of Gonzales.

Michele’s high school years consisted of playing drums in the Mighty Apache Band, performing at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, the Cotton Bowl in Dallas with the drill team and winning multiple awards for cross country and tennis. Michele graduated from Gonzales High School in 1997 and started on her exciting life journey.

Living life was definitely what Michele strived for. Right out of high school, she got the opportunity to work on the set of Friday Night Lights. She also got to work with the Dallas Cowboys at NFL football camps alongside her mom, Jeannie. Michele’s hobbies consisted of traveling with her two daughters, kayaking the Atlantic with her buddy, and running with her girlfriends, which always entailed lots of laughter, memories and of course a medal. Aside from her hobbies, Michele graduated from Concorde College with honors, in which she obtained her degree in Dental Hygiene. Michele was employed at Great Expressions in Round Rock, and absolutely loved her patients and co-workers.

Michele always instilled the importance of education in her two girls by using the philosophy of the Three B’s – Books Before Boys. The trio was privileged to travel across the world to adventure places like Paris, Madrid and Barcelona. They shared many special moments together, a favorite being the time they rode dolphins on a wild excursion. Michele loved life, family and friends. Michele never met a stranger, and she was always willing to help anyone anytime she could. She will be dearly missed by all of her family and friends.

Michele Ann Lewis-Faith is survived by her two daughters, Alyssa (Piper) Michele Faith and Teagan Lynn Faith of Gonzales/Schulenburg, her parents, Benny and Jeannie Lewis of Gonzales, brother, Michael Christopher of Austin, along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Harmon and Helen L Maulding, grandmother, Wanda Lewis, and grandfather, Calvin Lewis.
