Mateo DeJesus Gallegos

Mateo DeJesus Gallegos, infant, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 27, at Cuero Regional Hospital in Cuero, Texas.

Funeral mass is under the direction of Buffington Funeral Home in Gonzales, Texas and will be held on Thursday, Jan. 4, at 2 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Gonzales, Texas with Father Paul Raaz officiating. Burial will follow at Saint James Catholic Cemetery in Gonzales, Texas. A rosary will be recited at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 1:30 p.m. prior to the mass. Visitation will be at Buffington Funeral Home on Thursday, Jan. 4, from 10 am until 12:00 p.m., noon.

Mateo was born on Dec. 27, in Cuero, Texas. He was the son of Javier and Elizabeth (Gonzalez) Gallegos.

Mateo is survived by his parents; Javier and Elizabeth Gallegos, his grandparents; Maria Rodriguez of Gonzales, Texas, Rafael Gonzalez of Gonzales, Texas, Socorro Contreras of Nixon, Texas and Narciso Gallegos of San Antonio, Texas, two brothers; Osvaldo Gallegos, Sergio Gallegos, and one sister; Noemy Gallegos.
