Mary “Maria” Blanch

Mary “Maria” Blanch, age 80, entered eternal rest on March 16, at her home in Nixon, Texas. She was born in Elgin, Texas, on Nov. 25, 1938.

Maria was preceded in death by her father, James Crysup; her mother, Edna Carter Kasner; her step-father, Clarence Kasner; and her sister, Ruthie English.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, George Blanch; four children, Beverly Kuecker and husband Jim of Cuero; Bianca Butler and husband Abel of Three Rivers; Brandon Blanch and wife Laurie of Wimberley; Brandy Martin and husband Allen of Canyon, TX; her grandchildren, Avery Blanch, Brooke Brown Smith, Jonathan Martin, Jett Martin, Sara Kuecker, Kyle Kuecker and wife Kaytlyn; her great-grandchildren: Brealyn Brown and Cavan Smith, and a brother, James “Jimmy” Crysup and wife Carolyn of Smithville; as well as other loving family and many friends.

Visitation will be held Sunday, March 24, 2-3 p.m., at Finch Funeral Chapel, Nixon.

Chaplain Jeff Robinett will officiate the service with the assistance of Pastor Rhonda Troll. A private burial will be held at the Nockenut Cemetery, near Union Valley, at a later date.
