Linda Lee Singleton, 65, of College Station passed away Tuesday, Aug. 29. Linda was born October 22, 1951 in Seminole to Archie B and Billie Jo Beauchamp Singleton. She was a member of Round Grove Baptist Church in Dublin, TX.

Linda grew up in Denver City and Dublin, Texas. She graduated from Dublin High School with the Class of 1970. She received her LVN certification from the Nursing School in Stephenville and continued her studies in nursing at San Angelo State University where she earned her degree in Registered Nursing. Linda retired from working as a neonatal nurse in St. Joseph’s Hospital in College Station in February of 2016.

Linda was an intelligent woman with a loving and caring nature. She was a good person who selflessly gave of herself to help others. Linda was a voracious reader and loved to crochet afghans and doilies. She loved good movies and treasured her nieces and nephews.

Linda is survived by her brothers and sisters-in-law, Jimmy and Cecilia Singleton of Waelder and Mickey and Rene’ Singleton of Harwood and her beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 9, in Seydler-Hill Funeral Home with Rev. Todd Craven officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday prior to the service. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 2451 Crystal Drive, Suite 900, Arlington, VA 22202.
