Lee Edward Lewis

Lee Edward Lewis was born April 21, 1948 in Altair, Texas to Althea Lewis-Miller. He was the youngest of three children.

Lee was a member of Holy Temple of Jesus Christ #7 in San Antonio, Texas. He later moved his membership to Holy Temple of Jesus Christ #2 in Gonzales, Texas, where he was a member since 1978.

Lee attended school at E. H. Henry High School in Eagle Lake, Texas and graduated in 1966. He also attended Gary Job Corp as a Mechanic. He worked for Gonzales ISD for many years before retiring.

Lee is preceded in death by his mother Althea Lewis-Miller, brother Charles Lewis, grandson Blake Allen Moore, and other relatives.

Lee leaves to cherish his memories a wife of 46 years, Jo Ann Lewis; One son Darren Nelson (Sara) of San Antonio, TX; three daughters Donna Moore (George) of San Antonio, TX; Madeline Nelson, also of San Antonio, TX; Tonya Young (Nathan) of Houston, TX; one sister Trula Garner of Altair, TX; eight grandkids, eight great grandkids, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
