ENTER OUR RED RIBBON WEEK COLORING CONTEST!

The Gonzales Inquirer is joining with local law enforcement agencies in promoting a life free from the abuse of drugs, alcohol and tobacco during the annual national Red Ribbon Week. The Inquirer is hosting a coloring contest for students in kindergarten through 3rd grade in Gonzales County.

Thanks to Spaces Sublime, Gonzales Healthcare Systems, Precinct 4 Constable John Moreno, and Texas Farm Bueau Insurance for their support in making the contest possible. Free copies of The Inquirer were requested and delivered to schools in the Gonzales and Nixon-Smiley ISDs.

To enter, just pick and download one of the coloring subjects from this post (see links to left) – or pick up a copy of the Oct. 22 Gonzales Inquirer! Color the subject in and either turn the completed work into your teacher (if your school is participating), or e-mail a scan or high-resolution (best quality) photo to steve.fountain@gonzalesinquirer.com.

The contest is open to students at public, private or home schools. The student must live within Gonzales County. One entry per student.
