Kenneth Gene Schoenfield

Kenneth Gene Schoenfield, 59, of El Campo, formerly of Nixon, passed away on Jan. 2. He was born on Oct. 19, 1958 in El Campo to Donald and Gloria Schoelman Schoenfield. Kenneth was involved in cattle ranching his entire life.

He is survived by his father, Donald Schoenfield of El Campo; brother, Ted Schoenfield and wife Catherine of Wharton; nephews Ty and Sawyer Schoenfield; numerous cousins and friends.

He is preceded in death by his mother Gloria Schoelman Schoenfield; Uncle Dave Schoelman, and nephew John David Schoenfield.

Visitation began on Friday, Jan. 5, from 4-7 p.m. at Triska Funeral Home. Funeral services were on Saturday, Jan. 6, 10 a.m. at Triska Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Clement officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Ty Schoenfield, Sawyer Schoenfield, David Lopez, John Petty, Dale Schoelman, Nick Mikeska, Paul Rodriguez and Gary Schoenfield. Honorary pallbearers will be Boyse Jurasek, Curtis Clapp and Glen Riger.
