Kathleen Canion Wagner

Kathleen Canion Wagner, age 83, passed away peacefully on Dec. 4, 2016.

Kathleen was born in Nixon, TX to Ruth and Dewey Canion. She attended business school and married Leo Wagner in San Antonio, TX in 1954. Kathleen moved with Leo to Minnesota and held various clerical positions until retiring from Coast to Coast Hardware in 1989. Kathleen and Leo wintered at their home in Fountain Hills, AZ for over 25 years. Kathleen was an exceptional seamstress, an avid reader, enjoyed crossword puzzles and loved playing BINGO.

Kathleen was preceded in death by her husband, Leo; parents, Dewey and Ruth Pauline Patteson Canion; brother, Wildon Canion and sister, Elizabeth Jean Arndt.

She will be dearly missed by her children:  Patricia, Sandra (Paul Sjogren), Phillip (Tammy); grandchildren, Caitlin and Evan Denison, Kirsten (Phillip) DesMarais, Anna Sjogren, Brooklyn and Chance; great-grandchildren, Lena and Clayton DesMarais; sister, Joan Allen; a number of nieces and nephews, and many friends and relatives.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 4 at Nixon Cemetery.

Memorials are preferred to the American Cancer Society.
