Junior high scorecard - Oct. 3-9

7th Grade "B team" tied Wimberley 6-6.

Jzyah Melancon scored a 42-yard touchdown run. Jordan Escobedo and Landon Lindstedt both had game-changing interceptions. Huriel Zamora had multiple tackles for a loss. Anthony Castro was the defensive player of the game.

7th Grade "A Team" lost to Wimberley 16-6.

Mathhew Rios was offensive player of the game. He scored an eight-yard touchdown run. The defensive player of the game was Omar Borjon. Their record is now 2-1.

8th Grade "B Team" lost to Wimberley 24-14.

Damian Hernandez scored two touchdowns. He scored a 43- and 12-yard touchdown run. He also added a 2-point run. Damian had several tackles on defense. Jaquarius Hastings recovered an onside kick attempt by Wimberley.

8th Grade "A team" beat Wimberley 24-20.

Kamren Leal and Davonte Smith were offensive players of the game.

Kamren threw a 72-yard touchdown pass to Davonte.

Davonte also caught the game winning 15-yard touchdown pass from Demetrius Segura late in the 4th quarter.

Kamren scored a 12-yard touchdown run.

Kamren also scored a 2-point run twice.

Blake Wright scored a 2-point run.

The defensive players of the game were the entire defensive unit.

Their record is now 3-0 on the year.
