Joan Knight

Service for Joan Knight, 88, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 27 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Burial will follow at Rosehill Cemetery in Cleburne. Visitation will be 1 to 2 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 27 at the funeral home prior to service.

Joan Knight passed away Jan. 20, 2021 in Cleburne. She was born Dec. 7, 1932 in Gonzales County, Texas to James Homer and Celeste (Mahan) Henry. Joan married Austin Rodney Knight on April 10, 1954 in Nixon, Texas. She was a school secretary for Cooke and Coleman Elementary and a member of St. Marks United Methodist Church.

Joan is survived by her children, Steve Knight of Granbury; Jeff Knight and wife Jamie of Fort Worth, Russell Knight and partner Tammy Knight of Cleburne; grandchildren, Cassie, Kaitlin Bryan, William, McKenzie and Jill; five great-grandchildren; sister, Sue Earnst and husband Charles of Bryan; brother, James Henry of Dallas, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Joan is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Rodney Knight, brothers, Walter and Claude Henry; sister, Elizabeth Henry and grandson Bradley Knight
