Hot weather alert: Tuesday toasty!

Although Tropical Storm Cristobal is expected to stay east of Texas on a course for Louisiana, it will still impact weather in the Lone Star State.

According to the National Weather Service, South-Central Texas will experience above normal heat, peaking on Tuesday over 100 degrees in the region. Heat advisories are anticipated. For those thinking about cooling off in the Gulf, there is moderate to high rip current risk due to the tropical storm.
