Gonzales City Council is slated to meet twice on Tuesday. The first meeting is scheduled for 8:30 a.m.
The meeting will be called to order and go straight into an executive session, "to deliberate the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public officer or employee (City Attorney interviews)."
Following the closed portion of the meeting, council will reconvene in open session and discuss action, if there is any.
At 6 p.m. council will meet again.
At the top of the later agenda council will hold a public hearing, concerning an ordinance to participate in the Texas Enterprise Zone Program and to Nominate BYK, USA Inc. to the Office of the Governor Economic Development and Tourism as a Half Enterprise Project Designation.
According to the agenda the hearing will include discussion of any tax or other incentive which might be available to the Half Enterprise Zone Program designation under the existing city policy.
The same agenda also covers a number of routine business, resolutions, ordinances, appointments and agreements.
Gonzales City Council meets at 820 St. Joseph St, in the Gonzales Municipal Building.
The next regularly scheduled meeting of Gonzales City Council is 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 7.
