Gloria Sepulveda Gonzales

Gloria Sepulveda Gonzales, 70, of Gonzales, entered eternal life on Wednesday, September 29, 2021.  Gloria was born on November 8, 1950, in Gonzales to Guadalupe & Joe Sr. Sepulveda. She married the love of her life, Rodrigo Gonzales, Jr., on December 1, 1979. 

Gloria had many passions in life, some of which included baking, cake decorating, and nice evenings watching and listening to her husband perform good ole country music, along with volunteering in many different charities within her community. Above all, she enjoyed making everlasting memories with those she loved. Nothing was more important to Gloria than the well-being of her family and friends. For those that were fortunate to cross paths with Gloria, was able to truly witness what an Angel on Earth really looked like.

In the early years of her journey, she took after her father in the poultry business. As time went on, she would find her true calling in the life of caregiving for the elderly of which she took great pride in. After her time of caregiving came to an end, she became heavily involved in the Catholic Community, serving as President of the Guadalupanas.

Gloria is survived by her loving husband of 42yrs. Rodrigo Gonzales Jr. Four beautiful daughters, Rita & husband Daniel Ibarra Sr. of Gonzales, Ronda & husband Elias Ibarra Sr. of Austin, Tammy & husband Oscar Martinez of Wharton, Mary Gonzales & Chris of Gonzales, and her one and only son, her “Mijo”, Rodrigo Gonzales III & Vanessa Gonzales of Gonzales, 16 Grandchildren & 8 Great Grandchildren whom she loved unconditionally, Siblings; Patsy and husband Ruben Garcia of Gonzales, Henry and wife Delia Sepulveda, of Victoria, Manuel Sepulveda of Gonzales, and Ruebene Sepulveda of Gonzales. She is proceeded in death by her parents, Guadalupe & Joe Sr. Sepulveda, brother Joe Sepulveda Jr., and brother John Albert Sepulveda Sr.

The family will received friends from 5 to 7 pm Tuesday, October 5, 2021 in Seydler-Hill Funeral Home, with a Rosary to be recited at 7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at 2 p.m. in Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Fr. Jason Martini as celebrant. Interment followed in the Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers: Alberto L. Ibarra, Daniel R. Ibarra Jr., Elias Ibarra Jr., Gabriel Ibarra, Joshua Gonzales, and John Sepulveda Jr. Honorary Pallbearers: Nicholas Gonzales, Oscar Trevino III, and Isreal Trevino.
