Francis Ray McNabb

Francis Ray McNabb, 84, of Cost, Texas, passed away Sunday, Sept. 20, 2020. He was born Oct. 4, 1935 in Gonzales the son of Frank and Libby Marek McNabb. He was a graduate of Gonzales High School and married Jetton Frances Baker on Jan. 8, 1955 at St. Ann Catholic Church in Petersville, Texas.

He was a retired dairy farmer and along with his wife and sons operated the dairy for over 50 years. He worked as a mechanic with the local Ford dealership for 10 years along with his dairy operation. He demonstrated a very strong work ethic which he passed on to his sons. He traveled when possible with his wife and most of all loved time spent with his family.

He is survived by his sons: Kenneth McNabb of Cost, Chet McNabb (wife Tammy) of Cost, Scott McNabb (wife Mary) of Gonzales and George McNabb of Cost; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.

Graveside services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 3, 2020 at the Oso Cemetery with Deacon John Klapuch officiating.
