Election Guide: Local candidate profiles, sample ballots and voting locations

As of Oct. 26, there were 4,257 early voters in Gonzales County for the general election. That represents 33.60% of registered voters in the county. With four days of early voting and the Nov. 3 election day still remaining, the current total is already 69% of total votes cast in the 2016 General Election.

Early voting in Gonzales County ends at 4:45 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 30.

On Election Day, Nov. 3, voters should go to their designated polling station:

Mail-in or absentee ballots are no longer available (the deadline was Oct. 26).

To drop off an absentee ballot in person, it must be taken to the County Clerk's Office on the second floor of the Randle-Rather building in Gonzales. Voters may only turn in their own ballots and a have a valid form of I.D.
