Danny Lee Boatright

Danny Lee Boatright was born to the late Mr. & Mrs. Gilmer Dan Boatright of Nixon, Texas, on Dec. 15, 1953. He graduated from Nixon High School. Upon graduating, Danny followed in his father footsteps and worked in road construction until his retirement. Danny was known and loved by many. He always had a smile on his face and a hand shake to extend. His friendliness and kindness to all people, and his devotion and love for the country life and animals is a tribute to the beauty of his heart and soul.

Danny departed this life on Friday, April 5 at his home in Leesville, Texas surrounded by his loving family. He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife of 43 years, Adriana Bustamante-Boatright, their daughter Jennifer Boatright, son Douglas Boatright and his wife Lacy Boatright; and his two grandchildren, Rhett Jaxon Boatright and Sadie Jo Walden all of Leesville, Texas; sisters, Barbara Billig of Seguin, Sandra Henry of Stockdale, Mary Ramos of Port Lavaca and brother, Leonard Boatright of Nixon, along with numerous nieces and nephews as well as a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Sharon Schelnick and his grandson, Drake Alexander Boatright.

The funeral service with be held Tuesday, April 9 at 11 a.m. at Finch Funeral Chapel, Nixon, Texas. Interment will follow in the Union Valley Cemetery. The viewing for family and friends will take place Monday, April 8 from 5-8 p.m. at Finch Funeral Chapel. Services will be officiated by the Reverend Jimmy Newman.
