Cynthia (Cindy) Lynn Crumley of La Plata, Missouri passed away Friday, Jan. 4 at the age of 51.

She was born June 2, 1967 in Gonzales, Texas as the eldest of 4 children to Edward Lee and Sarah Ann Malatek. Cindy was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and aunt.

Cindy gave birth to her first child, Kimberly, in October 1983. In the summer of 1986, she met the love of her life, Kenneth Wayne Crumley. Out of this love came two more children and made their home complete. During their marriage the family enjoyed their camping and river trips together, going to amusement parks, bike rallies and family bar-b-que's. She truly enjoyed anything that involved spending time with family and friends. After 24 long years their marriage came to an end and she never re-married.

Shortly after their divorce, Cindy moved to the beach. One thing is certain: The only things she loved more than the beach were her kids, grandkids and her dog Gizmo. They meant the world to her. She made a point to facetime her grandchildren as often as possible. Her eldest grandchild had recently moved in with her in Missouri and she was overwhelmed with joy.

Having left behind many friends and family, she will be missed dearly and will never be forgotten.

She is survived by her daughters, Amber and husband Phillip Haake of Brownfield, TX, and Rebecca (Becky) and husband Joe Martinez of San Patricio, TX, brother, Bruce (Bubba) and wife Gloria Malatek, sister Teri Malatek and husband Chris Villagran, all of Gonzales, TX. She leaves behind five grandchildren, Austin Malatek, Makayla Garza, Jimmy Rosas Jr., Kenni and Ashton Haake, numerous nieces and nephews, and numerous extended family members.

She is preceded in death by her eldest daughter, Kimberly Rosas-Malatek, brother Darrell Lee Malatek, parents Edward Lee and Sarah Ann Malatek, and former husband Kenneth (Kenny) Wayne Crumley.

Memorial Service for Cindy will be held at the New Beginnings Church at 1020 St Louis St, Gonzales, TX 78629 with Bishop D.E. Young. Time and date will be Saturday, March 9 at 2:30 p.m. All are welcome to come celebrate her life with her family and friends.
