Come and Take It Memorial Golf Tournament adding players, sponsors for Oct. 3 event

The 2nd Annual Come and Take It Memorial Golf Tournament will be held Saturday, Oct. 3 at the Gonzales Independence Golf Course.

The tournament proceeds go the Community Foundation of the Gonzales Area (CFGA), a 501 c3 organization that provides educational scholarships via the Tommy D. Chenault Scholarship Award to Gonzales area students, faculty, Veterans and/or children of Veterans.
The Gonzales High School Class of 1964 and CFGA honors the county’s seven “Fallen But Not Forgotten Vietnam Veterans” killed in action.
