Bruce Berton Reininger, 43, of Gonzales, Texas passed away on Friday, October 21, 2016 at Guadalupe Regional Medical Center in Seguin Texas.

Services are under the direction of Buffington Funeral Home in Gonzales, Texas. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at Buffington Funeral Home with a Graveside Service immediately following at Pilgrim Cemetery with Reverend Forest Hamilton of Faith Family Church officiating the Home Going Celebration.

Bruce was born on June 15, 1973 in San Antonio, Texas. He was the son of Joseph C. and Sarah Lea (Frankenhauser) Reininger. After graduating from high school, Bruce worked as a mechanic , carpenter, and then in the oil fields as a roustabout, and worked his way up to tool pusher. He had to retire after 15 years due to an injury. Bruce liked to work with his hands doing mechanical work, or working outdoors. He enjoyed the company of friends and family. Bruce was a loyal and gracious person. He liked to watch movies and TV. He was a witty comedian who liked to joke around. His smile will be missed.

Bruce is survived by one daughter; Kaitlyn Reininger of Yoakum, Texas, one brother; Chris Reininger and his wife, TammyFern of Hutto, Texas, one sister, Missy Hall and her husband, Johnnie of Gonzales, Texas, his grandmother; Bertha Null of Gonzales, Texas, one niece; Cassidy Brown and one nephew; Ryan Brown, both of Gonzales, Texas, and many, many friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather; Louis Null, his parents; Joseph and Sarah Reininger.

Pallbearers for Mr. Reininger will be; Allen Haub, Kerry McCawley, Sherman Baker, Ryan Brown, Johnnie Hall, Will Hahn, Glenn Holcombe, and Barry Harkey. Honorary Pallbearer will be; James Rhodes.
